From the director that went on to create beloved animated films such as THE LAND BEFORE TIME and ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN, Don Bluth’s THE SECRET OF NIMH follows Mrs. Brisby, a widowed mouse that lives on the Fitzgibbons family farm with her son Timothy. When plowing season approaches and Timothy falls ill, Mrs. Brisby must hatch a plan to get her and her family to safety before the humans unknowingly destroy the mice and their home. She’ll need to recruit the efforts of clumsy crow Jeremy, a proverbial wise owl aptly named The Great Owl, and a colony of rats living just underneath the noses of the Fitzgibbons family that they are none the wiser to. Can the wildlife of the farm put their collective minds together to save Mrs. Brisby and Timothy or will the plowing season bring about the end of the field mice?
A widowed field mouse must move her family -- including an ailing son -- to escape a farmer's plow. Aided by a crow and a pack of superintelligent, escaped lab rats, the brave mother struggles to transplant her home to firmer ground.
