The Heights Theatre is located at 3951 Central Ave NE, Columbia Heights, MN 55421 on the corner of Central Ave near 40th Avenue, at Gould Avenue NE. Parking is free just south of the theater and on Gould Avenue. There is also a municipal parking lot just off 40th Avenue on the west side of Central Avenue. DO NOT PARK IN THE CHURCH PARKING LOT BEHIND THE THEATER!

The Heights opens a half hour before the first screening of the day.
All shows are general seating. We do not have online reservations, so please arrive early to get the seat you’d prefer. We run very few trailers before first-run films, and either no trailers or one PSA before special screenings. In other words, our movies typically screen at the start time listed.
We accept Cash, VISA, Discover and American Express.
Advance tickets may be purchased online by clicking on the BUY TICKETS button for any film or event. Tickets are redeemed at box-office with a confirmation e-mail or by using your name. Credit cards are debited upon purchase. Advance ticket sales are not refundable.
Heights Theater gift cards are perfect for friends and family and may be purchased either in person at our concession stand or online. Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards do not expire. They are not redeemable for cash and are only good for services and merchandise at The Heights Theater.

The Heights Theater is fully accessible. We also offer hearing assist and closed captioning devices, which are available at the concession stand. Closed captioning may not be available on all films.

The Heights serves freshly popped popcorn with REAL butter. We have a full line of Pepsi fountain drinks, Aquafina bottled water, and Starbucks mocha Frappuccino. Our candy selection includes Twizzlers, Dots, Junior Mints, Kit Kat, Milk Duds, M & M’s (plain and peanut), and plenty of others. We also offer 100% vegan cookies from the Alternative Baking Company.
In the spring and summer, patrons are welcome to purchase ice cream treats at the Dairy Queen next door and bring them into any show. The DQ has a full treat line as well as Orange Julius premium fruit smoothies, hot dogs, BBQ and Grilled chicken sandwiches. Bring your Heights Theater ticket stub to the DQ and get 50 cents off any treat or food item.
